Krunker is more than a browser game β it's a full competitive FPS with a skill ceiling that rivals some Steam titles. Whether you're brand new or looking to climb the ranks, these tips will sharpen your game.
Master the movement first
Krunker rewards movement skill more than aim. The key technique is slide-hopping: hold Shift to slide, then jump just before the slide ends. Done repeatedly, you keep your speed from slide to slide and become extremely hard to hit. Practise this before anything else.
Aim for the head
Every weapon does bonus damage on headshots. With sniper rifles, a single headshot kills. Even with SMGs and rifles, consistently hitting heads means faster time-to-kill. Lower your sensitivity if you're over-aiming β controlled flicks beat wild sprays.
Use the right class
- Triggerman (assault rifle) β best all-rounder for beginners.
- Hunter (sniper) β high reward, high risk. Good for open maps.
- Spray N Pray (LMG) β forgiving at close range.
- Agent (semi-auto pistol) β compact, fast. Skilled players love it.
Pick the right map
Burg and Sandstorm are open maps β great for hunters. Littletown and Krunker HQ are close-quarters β better for assault rifles and shotguns. Knowing the layout means knowing where enemies will come from.
Use cover and angles
Don't run in the open. Hold corners, pre-aim common spots, and peek only when you know what's on the other side. The player who takes the first shot from cover wins most duels.
Play deathmatch, not just FFA
Free-for-all is fun but chaotic. Team Deathmatch teaches you to coordinate, hold positions, and communicate β skills that transfer back to FFA immediately.
Settings to adjust
- Turn on performance mode in settings for smoother framerates on slower machines.
- Set sensitivity so a full mouse swipe rotates roughly 180Β°.
- Disable shadows and reduce quality if you notice lag β Krunker runs best at lower graphics.
